College & Young Adult

Trinity recognizes the importance of the next generation of leaders. We are thankful to have many students attend our church from local colleges, including Georgia Southern University. Trinity also sponsors an Adopt-A-Student program for the students from GSU. Trinity families are encouraged to “adopt” college students during the school year, and these families will often have students over for dinner, take them out on birthdays, and in other ways welcome students into the fellowship of Trinity Presbyterian Church. It’s a great way to meet new people—and to get some home-cooked food! For more information, call the church office, contact us by e-mail, or stop by and chat with us.

Reformed University Fellowship

Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) is a Christian campus ministry at Georgia Southern University. We seek to be a safe place for students to process the truth claims of Christianity and experience the love of God in community. We exist for students who are Christians, skeptics, agnostic, curious, doubting, struggling, burned-out, “on fire”, and everyone else too.

RUF at Georgia Southern is led by campus minister, Nathanael Miller. Nathanael grew up in the mountains of Western North Carolina, and came to know the Lord at a young age. He first got involved with RUF as a student at Appalachian State University, where he graduated in 2015. (Go 'Neers!) After serving as an intern with RUF, he felt called to vocational ministry, and attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte. During his final year of seminary, he served as the interim Campus Director for RUF at Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte. While attending seminary, he met his soon-to-be wife, Anna Kristen Mitchell. They will be saying their vows July 11, 2020.

Anna Kristen, or AK, attended Mississippi State University, where she was also very involved with RUF. She went on to serve as an intern at the University of Florida. The two are very excited to be involved with RUF for years to come, and are excited to be Georgia Southern Eagles! Hail Southern!

Campus Outreach

As our mission statement reads, Campus Outreach exists to glorify God by building laborers on the campus for the lost world. Our aim is to glorify God because man's chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. We seek to do this by building laborers because the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. We do all this on the college campus because college students are the next generation's leaders. Our vision is for the lost world because God's heart is for the nations.

Campus Outreach at Georgia Southern is led by Adam Cobb, Campus Director, Kaitlin Bryan, Campus Staff, and Regional Director Andrew Sears.

Young Adult

A Young Adult group was started at TPC to help young families feel connected at Trinity. There are lots of opportunities to fellowship with college students and adults through age 40 including a bimonthly time of bible study and fellowship on Mondays in the Young Adult classroom. Every Sunday, everyone is invited to join us for a light breakfast and Sunday School at 9:30 am. For more information on any of these events, contact Andrew Sears or email the church office.
