The final authority for the faith and life of a historic Reformed Presbyterian church is the Bible. The Bible is a large book, however, and there are different interpretations of its message, even among evangelical Protestant Christians.


For that reason, it is not sufficient to simply declare that we believe the Bible is the Word of God. There is a need for summary statements of its teachings, which, although subordinate to the Bible itself, set forth the teachings of the Bible.


While most churches may have a simple, short, statement of faith, the statement of faith of Trinity Presbyterian Church is The Westminster Confession of Faith. All men in leadership positions at Trinity Presbyterian Church hold fast to this Confession as a summary statement of the truths of Scripture. The Westminster Confession of Faith may be accessed online at the Presbyterian Church of America.

The purpose of Trinity Presbyterian Church is to motivate the people of God toward a spiritually mature walk with the true and living God by teaching them the doctrines of God’s word—using as a guide the Westminster Confession of Faith—so that they are equipped to infiltrate the world with God’s truth in every sphere of life; and so that they are equipped to communicate the Gospel and disciple converts to the end that the kingdom of God is triumphantly expanded and the kingdom of the world diminished.

Membership

Trinity Presbyterian Church welcomes all people to come worship with us. We recognize that you may be in many different places in your walk with Christ.
